Any exploration of southern coastal waters would be incomplete without the 40 mile fjord cruise to Malibu Rapids, the tidal entrance of Princess Louisa Inlet. Mile high, snowcapped peaks feed the cascading waterfalls tumbling over Yosemite-like sheer cliffs. Feel the majesty and the mystique of nature’s embrace in this world-class destination. Chatterbox Falls drops almost to tidewater at the head of the 5-mile inlet. This unique mountain-fjord experience, long a cruising focus for discerning yachtsmen, is preserved in perpetuity as a BC Marine Park. We’ll anchor overnight and explore by foot or kayak. Our exit of Malibu Rapids, like our inbound cruise, is restricted to tidal slack water. Retracing our southerly route down Jervis Inlet, we’ll dine al fresco beneath towering bluffs and mountains.
